The Upper Audubon Association (UAA) is a neighborhood association with a vision of maintaining and improving quality of life and property values. The boundaries of the organization are St. Charles Avenue to the Mississippi River and Walnut Street to Broadway Street and includes approximately 440 addresses. Our active neighborhood association is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Information on the Board and Officers can be found under the Organization tab.
UAA has a membership category with annual fees of $25 as well as offering Patrol Services at $400 annually. UAA's main focus has been to provide security to the UAA residents and their property. Our guard service patrols from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. We are also working on a Security Taxing District that will provide 24 hour patrol in the UAA area. Greater detail on the Patrol Service is provided under the Security Tab.
UAA holds an annual meeting in May and an annual Picnic in October. Go to the Meetings tab to find out about upcoming events. Additionally we have many other initiatives that are outlined in the various committees. Crucial to our organization is effective communications. We attempt to keep our residents informed via regular emails and our website.
Two features on our website focus on resident communications. Our Message Board allows residents to post messages on any topic including lost and found, security issues and general information. Also, the contact page allows residents to provide feedback to the Board concerning neighborhood related issues. You are encouraged to use both to help in improving the UAA neighborhood.
