Private Area Lights
Entergy has a program to provide private area lights that are attached to existing power poles and charged to your individual electric bill. The lights are installed by Entergy and enhance the current security lighting around your house or commercial property.
Night Watchman Light-a round open bottom light fixture similar to a street light, that emits an amber light via a high pressure sodium bulb. This light shines down and around the pole. Two options exist for this type of fixture:
250 watt, up to 75’ diameter coverage---$15.74*per month
400 watt, up to 100’ diameter coverage---$21.51* per month
Square Flood Light-a square flood light that is directed toward a specific area. This type of light is offered in two types of bulbs: High Pressure Sodium and Metal Halide.
High Pressure Sodium is an amber light
250 watt, up to 75’ coverage---$14.81*per month
400 watt, up to 100’ coverage---$19.90*per month
1000 watt, up to 130’ coverage---$40.82*per month
Metal halide is a bright pure white light with no color distortion. This bulb does not shine as far as the high pressure sodium but is a brighter light
250 watt, up to 50’ coverage---$14.81*per month
400 watt, up to 75’ coverage---$19.90*per month
1000 wattt, up to 100’ coverage---$40.82*per month
*Monthly charges are subject to a fuel adjustment that changes from month-to-month. Entergy does not charge an installation or cancellation charge. Changes can be made without additional charges and installation typically occurs within about 5 business days from the order date.

You will be connected to a voice activated menu, select
· Option 3-To Establish, Stop or Move service, then
· Option 2-If you are building a new home, commercial building, need underground services or new equipment
· Verify Telephone number, Select Option 1 if calling from number provided, if not then select Option 2
· If not provide either telephone number or account number
· Wait while call is being transferred
· You should be contacted to the Technical Department in the Customer Service Department
· Explain that you want a Private Area Light as described above
